OH&S Consultation
 
This course in OHS consultation has been developed by WorkCover NSW to meet the training requirements for OHS committees and OHS representatives, as stated in the OHS Regulation 2001. This training course supersedes the WorkCover NSW OHS workplace committee training course, which was last reprinted in 1996.
 

Course Requirements:

  • Chairs and tables
  • White board
  • Projector screen (or large blank white wall)

Duration: 4 days - 6hrs each day

Pre-Requisites: 100 Points of ID. A comprehensive list of acceptable ID's will be provided on booking.

Who should complete this course:

  • OHS committee members 
  • OHS representatives 
  • Persons involved in other agreed arrangements
Course Content: 
  • Workplace health and safety 
  • The role of OHS consultation in the workplace 
  • Effective OHS consultation in the workplace 
  • Systematic management of health and safety 
  • Action learning exercise 
  • Continuous improvement of OHS systems 
  • Summary and conclusion

Assessment: Assessment is conducted throughout the training program

Outcome: On successful completion, participants receive a WorkCover NSW Course in OHS Consultation
